I have tried to direct enquiries through this page in an effort to reduce the amount of rubbish I am sent through the internet, courtesy of robots and the other nonsense that trawl the web.

However, if you would like to share something with me or the visitors to this site, let me know of an error that I can correct, ask a question or some advice on research, where to stay or where to look for information, email me on steve@bedfordregiment.org.uk and I will reply as soon as I can. If it takes a few days or longer, please don't think I am being rude - the working week is rather long and I do my best to keep up!

 

About me

As for me, I live in Oundle, Northamptonshire, not 12 miles from my Great Grandfathers birthplace - with my incredibly supportive partner Liz, who happily tramps around cemeteries, battlefields, libraries and archives with me! Having been interested in Warfare since I was able to think for myself, I have spent many years researching on a hobby basis as well as several years as a full time Miltary and Family History researcher. However, the real world beckoned me back and I am now employed full time again so please bear that in mind when waiting for a reply!
