Feb 1916 In the line, dispositions as on Feb. 11th. Considerable
enemy bombardment throughout the afternoon on front of 6th &
14th Divisions. At 4.15 P.M. a mixture of smoke and gas was liberated
from enemy trenches along whole front of 8th Bedfordshire Regt.
The wind was a fair degree west of North, and blew the smoke down
the enemys trenches. Considerable Artillery activity throughout
the night.
